 FUN1 - Amanda Cooper

Amanda brings nearly 30 years of ringette experience and a deep enthusiasm for introducing young players to the sport.

Her background coaching beginner teams and her personal connection—her own daughter joining FUN1—make her a

perfect fit to help our newest skaters discover the joy of Ringette in a fun, supportive environment.

 

 

FUN2 - Kayla Vander Ploeg

Kayla is passionate about youth sports and the importance of strong female role models.

With a background in competitive athletics, she’s committedto creating a space where young girls feel empowered,

supported, and inspired to grow both as athletes and individuals.

 

U10 - Devon Brown

Devon’s love for ringette is infectious. With multi-sport coaching experience and a mindset focused on

continuous learning, he brings energy,adaptability, and a genuine joy for coaching. His dedication to building

confidence and camaraderie among players makes him a valuable asset to the FUN3 team.

 

U10 - Jenn Zendo

Jenn brings both ringette playing experience and a thoughtful, inclusive coaching style rooted in encouragement

and skill-building.Her organized, creative approach to practices and her emphasis on sportsmanship and team spirit

will help FUN3 players thrive both on and off the ice.

 

U12 - Kaitlin Higgins

Kaitlin combines years of coaching experience with a lifelong passion for ringette and a professional background in fitness.

Her strong foundation in coaching techniques and player development will be instrumental in guiding the

U12 team through a season of growth and achievement.

 

U14A - Ian McDonald

 

U16B - Matt Locke

Matt brings a wealth of competitive sports experience and a strong skating background. His positive mindset

and focus on fair play and team unitywill foster a supportive environment where players can build skills,

confidence, and lasting friendships.

 

U16A - Jenny Ratter

Jenny has been part of the ringette community since picking up a stick at age 12 in Tillsonburg.

A specialized defencewoman, Jenny has spent years coaching at every level from Bunnies to U19 across

Tillsonburg, London, St. Marys, and Dorchester, and previously served six years on the

Tillsonburg Ringette Executive, including three as President. Jenny brings energy, experience,

and a lifelong passion for ringette to the Dragons bench.

 

U19B - Tom Gee

Tom returns to the bench with several years of coaching experience at the U12 and U14 levels, including

leading the Twisted Dragons.His enthusiasm for rejoining the coaching ranks and his familiarity with the

game make him a great fit to support and guide our U19B athletes. 

 

U19 A - Laura Dayman

Laura began her ringette journey as a Dragon at age four and has been part of the sport ever since.

A lifelong competitor, she has played at the AA and AAA levels and now continues her playing career

in the National Ringette League. With three years of coaching experience, this season marks Laura’s

first year as a head coach.  She is eager to bring her knowledge, energy, and love of the game to a

talented group of U19A athletes, helping them grow both on and off the ice.
